About the Author
Napoleon Hill (1883-1970) was born in a one-room cabin on the Pound River in Wise County, Virginia. Didn't do much for me

I didn't learn much from this book. Just a bunch of rich people talking about some old recordings of Napoleon Hill. I didn't find it provided much insight beyond 'Think and Grow Rich' that I found useful or inspiring. I was bored and found myself hoping it would end so I could stop listening.

Great To Hear Napoleon Hill's Own Voice

This CD set was great because it was like going back in time and listening to one of the forefather's on personal development in his own voice. His principle's which were laid out over 100 years ago, are still very sound steps to one creating a life of fullfillment in all areas of life.

The narrator on this CD set was none other than Mr. Greg S Reid (Three Feet from Gold Best Selling Author), and he did a fabulous job! Especially when it came down to getting feedback from the experts of personal development in today's world. I really LOVED this part because they broke down the principle's and how they work in our lives and explained how we can put them to use them in our lives today. I found this to be a tremendous value!

Overall, I found this work a tremendous value and putting the principle's into motion in my life today.

THE BEST.....HANDS DOWN!!!
I have evaluated and used several CogAT books to help prepare my students for the test, and without any hesitation, I can say that this book is the best. I have been so thirsty to find the perfect book for both the teachers/parents and the students/children, but now I am so excited! I finally found it! It surely fulfills what other CogAT books are lacking: study guide with DRILLS for each sub test and THOROUGH answer explanations. When the drills seem especially helpful to prepare the students to understand the concepts tested, I think the answer explanations will prove to be invaluable. As I am so ecstatic to use this book for my students, I will write another or more review(s) as I see the progress.
Again, the best CogAT book on the market!!!

This is by far the best Cogat practice book I found

This is by far the best Cogat practice book I found. It offers a structure and questions that are the right level of difficulty and format as the real Cogat test. Additionally, the practice exercises and test tips for each section are well organized and help make nervous test taker feel reduce some of their anxiety. Those practice drills and the very complete answers are what really help set the book apart from others. It not one shows the right answer, but explains why the other answers are incorrect. This is a great aid for parents when the right answer may be obvious to us, so it makes it difficult to explain to a child why a different answer was the better choice.

I'd buy this book again and have recommended it to several friends. I only wish they made it for additional grades.

In White Privilege: Essential Readings on the Other Side of Race, Rothenberg has compiled and reduced some very important and complex discussions on whiteness from a variety of social contexts. In White Privilege, whiteness is traced from it's multiple origins and entry points giving a basic understanding on how whiteness developed as a social construct, what whiteness has meant to numerous people, how various Others have become white, and how whiteness is navigated and construed by people of color.
It should be noted that this is a primer - an entry-level text on whiteness. This book is highly recommended for those seeking a deeper understanding of what whiteness is, what it means, and to some degree what it costs. It's a valuable starting point with numerous references and further readings for those who seek a deeper, richer, understanding of whiteness.
