Next coat them with a tablespoon of olive oil and then put them in the oven which needs to be preheated to 500 F. Roast them until they turn golden brown, turning them once. Delicious!
Interesting Fact: Although a vegetable, Brussels sprouts are surprisingly high in protein which makes up 25% of the vegetable’s calories. This means that they are a great substitute for meat if mixed with grains to provide the whole spectrum of amino acids that meat provides, with the added benefit that they won’t fill you out like meat does.

This book is very helpful, it explains healthy foods, vitamins they carry and a brief explanation of the food. I highly recommend the purchase of this book.

Great book

Packed full of good and useful information. If you have a weight problem or health problems I believe you can benefit from reading this book. It is well written and covers topics like fruits, veggies, snacks & other foods. It also has good dieting and exercise tips. I did take one star off though cuz it doesn't have a functional Table of Contents so it is a little difficult to navigate from subject to subject. Still a great book though.
