About the Author
Austin Goodrich and John List grew up in Michigan, graduated from the University of Michian and served in the same platoon for 30 months in World War II. Goodrich went under cover as a CIA case officer, while List went under cover to escape the law after he murdered his family in 1971. Goodrich documents the linkage of List?s diagnosed posttraumatic stress and the murder.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

This book is horrible. The murders are hardly mentioned. Did anybody edit this? It's full of typos, so much so that it was hard to read. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Terrible book.

This book is full of so many typo's that you must wonder if it was even edited. John E. List comes across as being a pathetic whiner. In yet another act of extreme selfishness, this book tries to soften his excuse through his author "friend" and ghost writer.
This book does offer you a rather unusual perspective through his eyes as he candidly describes the events of that fateful day in 1971 when he murdered his entire family. He truly was a bizarre and evil man, even more evident through his own words. His lack of remorse through his disjointed and troubled mind is very evident.
