About the Author
Mary Ann Hogan, MSN, RN has been a nurse educator for 25 years, currently as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has taught in diploma, associate degree, and baccalaureate nursing programs.A former item writer for the CAT NCLEX-RN(R) exam, Ms. Hogan has been teaching review courses throughout New England for the last 15 years. She also has contributed to a number of publications in the areas of adult health, pharmacology, and fundamentals of nursing. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society for Nursing.

Waste of Money.

I bought this book in order to prepare for my upcoming tests. I was excited about the additional questions and audio notes attached to it; however, I find my self completely dissatisfied. After struggling to create a profile on their website, I found out that the bonus questions were on a website that didn't exist. When I went to their support page, the server was unavailable. Then, I checked the Vango notes to see if I could listen to it and found out its not an option on the site. COMPLETELY MISLEADING. If I knew I was just buying a bunch of notes I would not have spent all that money. Unfortunately, its too late to return.

Loved it I would buy it again !!!!!

Love this book I was struggling with Health Assessment and after I bought this book my grade went up to an A. This does not mean it would work for everyone the same way, remember everyone study different. The information from this book was the same my teacher was giving in class that's why it helped. I also recommended to nurses that need a refresher in Health Assessment, it contains all the material you would need to remember.

Look elsewhere, not so great

The book itself is alright, not the best book for nursing health & physical assessment out there. The material is ok, but I feel like layout of the book is not appealing. My main issue is with questions from the "bonus website". First of all, they're counting the pre-test & post-test questions that are already in the physical book, so it's very misleading because we're not actually getting an additional 750 questions. Additionally, the extra practice questions for each chapter, a lot of them are very repetitive. They are worded differently, but provide the same answer choices and the answer is the same as well.
I was expecting a lot more since this book got so many good reviews. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
