A man of the word;: Life of G. Campbell Morgan

Jill Morgan has painted a wonderful word portrait of her father in law, Dr. George Campbell Morgan. I enjoy reading his works. Therefore, this book about his life gave an intimate view of the man behind the pen. He was indeed, on all accounts, a masterful preacher and teacher of God's Word; his catholicity allowed him to go beyond mere ecumenism on the surface to having real fellowship with people of all denominations and non-denominations. It seems to me that the part the I would have loved to have had was meeting and hearing Dr. Morgan for myself. But alas! He is no longer amongst us. But Mrs. Jill Morgan has kept him alive through telling his story. I wish this book would be reprinted for young theologians just entering seminary; it could greatly aid their understanding about the Book they are being trained to handle, from a man who loved the Book: The Bible.

A good biography

I have not yet read the book yet, but I buy it because Dr.Warren Wiebie highly recommend it. The book is good in print ,easy to read. However it has not even one photo in the whole book beside the cover that make me wonder.
