Best thing I've read on Mentoring!

This is a fantastic comprehensive study into the US Army Mentoring practices and definitions. As a well-researched academic read, the author provided lots of personal examples and stories which kept me engaged and thinking about the topic being illustrated. This definitely challenged my own concepts of mentoring and broadened my perspective on what mentoring means and potential future mentoring relationships in my own professional career and personal life. The principles and concepts articulately laid out by the author are applicable in any professional environment, but focused on the military and US Army organizational cultures. This is a must-read for all Army Officers! Undoubtedly, this is the best thing I've read on mentoring!

I found this book by chance- hoping that i would just run across something that would develop me into a better officer and discovered this book along the way- i'm really happy i read it- and i will recommend others to read as well- i look forward to reading more form the author.
